Lawrel is pleased to announce that Dr. Do Viet Cuong has officially become a member of the firm.
Dr. Do Viet Cuong is a lecturer at the Faculty of International Law and a member of the Scientific Council of the Center for International Marine and Maritime Law Studies at the VNU School of Law (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). Dr. Cuong’s teaching, research, and consulting focus on public international law, the law of the sea, international environmental law, and energy law, as well as the environmental aspects of international trade and investment.
He earned his Ph.D. in International Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute in Switzerland. He has also conducted research at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, the Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea, the Environmental Law Centre of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and the Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard Law School.
