Recently, Ms. Ngo Nguyen Thao Vy, LL.M. – a Legal Counsel at Lawrel – along with a colleague, completed the English translation of Judgment No. 02/2022/KDTM-ST. The translation has been successfully uploaded to the CISG-online database.
This is the second judgment related to the application of the CISG by a Vietnamese court to be published on this website. One of the main challenges in applying the CISG is accessing and understanding court decisions that interpret the convention. The CISG-online database was created to provide a comprehensive collection of these decisions, facilitating research into the convention’s application.
The translation by Ms. Ngo Nguyen Thao Vy and her colleague is a significant contribution, helping to reflect the practical application of the CISG by Vietnamese courts.
